Pleasantly decorated room. Comfortable bed.

Noisy. Room faced busy road and, although there was excellent double glazing, it was too hot to have the windows closed. The shower did not drain and flooded the bathroom.

Staff were friendly helpful and welcoming. Great location. Clean up to date fresh rooms. Lovely options for breakfast evening meals.

Room was small

Reasonably well located for me to attend a charity event. Good parking and access via key fob was useful. Presence of a fan in the room was much appreciated.

Difficult to cool the room- my visit was during an unseasonably hot couple of days. Opening the window cooled the room during the night but did lead to a lot of noise from passing traffic. There was some confusion on ordering breakfast so I received eggs that I had not ordered and did not want or eat.

A good sized room with everything we needed. it is within a lovely setting with pleasant outdoor areas.

Our room wasn't serviced on our 2 day stay so no more coffee/tea/milk-dirty cups etc and we didn't arrive back to the hotel until too late to tell anyone or to ask for replenishments. Staff were pleasant at check in/out but couldn't answer questions and had to ask their manager who we never saw. On checkout that was the only comment we had when explaining about the room not being serviced -sorry, I will tell the manager.

The room had everything we required, the staff were wonderful. The bed was a little hard for me but I managed to sleep. Great location, great breakfast and the staff couldn't be more helpful.

Beautifully presented hotel, good decoration etc. Very good food. We didn't understand how to manage the Innkeepers breakfast assuming it was a continental style where you could choose from the various items according to appetite and preferences. And we couldn't see a price for it. So we went with just waiting to see what came and it was masses, too much, of excellent food. We ate some, left some and took a little back up to our room which we ate the next day for breakfast there. It transpired that the price was very good value for so much and you could ask for just particular items to be brought out, the price remaining the same. Wish we'd known that first. We would have worked fine with that option! The evening meal options were delicious and well priced. The staff were very friendly. Parking fine.

One of my pillows was lumpy which affected my comfort. Seems a shame when the hotel presents as quite luxurious. The bathroom was pretty small with few places to put things but they earn stars for having somewhere to place toiletries attached to a grab handle in the walk in shower. I hate having to bend down to pick up my toiletries from the floor. And the shower tray was textured non slip which was helpful for me too. My mobility isn't great, so thank you. Some of this should be in the What I did like bit!
