Hotel Happy

we were staying overnight during our long trip by car. We were given huge apartment with comfy beds and small kitchen.

apartment did not correspond to photos on booking and looked like someone's private property. Apartment was located outside of the hotel and we had to pass through some private territory to reach it, bypassing lots of trash cans which smelled a lot. Also, there was mold in the refrigerator, which really disappointed our impression about the stay

Breakfast

The roomdoors could not be closed without big noise. Neighbors entering or leaving their rooms made such noise because of the door locks.

The couple managing the place strive very hard to make your stay comfortable. Everything is very clean and well kept. the hotel is located comfortably outside Hamburg - but still close to surrounding cities.

There is plenty of public parking outside the hotel - but one must beware of that the often held saturday market is placed on that parking lot and parking is then forbidden from 04.30 - 14.00 and violators can be transported away. I was though woken up (5am) by the still patient and friendly policeman who gave the opportunity to move the car outside the market area. Breakfast is charged outside the room price (of course it would be included in a usual total price but this sticks in the eye due to the fact one is used to a included price)

Unfortunately there was NOTHING to be liked about this hotel. It was terrible. If I can give it 0 stars I would.

Service was terrible. Rooms were terrible. They had bed bugs. It was few nights of hell for me n my family. We got eaten by bed bugs. Customer service was terrible. And they refused to change our bed sheets the entire 15 nights we were there. Absolutely terrible. Worst hotel experience of our lives.
