It was a short drive out of Glasgow. It had a nice restaurant. The breakfast was good. The room was a bit small but well maintained.

The food! I had both dinner and breakfast here and both were excellent, the breakfast was one of the nicest I've ever had. The dinner was also excellent although I was disappointed that the Bakewell Tart dish on the menu was no longer available as I'm a bit of a freak for anything cherry-based!

My only small complaint was the LCD screen on the phone in the room which is always on. At night, in an otherwise dark room, this thing shines quite brightly. I cured this by hanging my phone case over the screen but I don't know why it's lit-up all the time and not just when the phone is being used. Overall, this was a minor problem in an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Handily placed for visiting locally and for going into Glasgow. Breakfast is excellent: cooked to order. The rooms are small but well set up with quality amenities.

Newly refurbished hotel in the centre of Kirkintilloch. Lovely welcome.Nice clean room with a great shower. Convenient car park.Good breakfast selection.

Not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair, as no lift available due to the historic nature of the building. We were unable to obtain a drink on our return to the hotel at the bar, as they had closed the tills before midnight which was disappointing, as a hotel.guest.

We just loved the ambience the exceptionally friendly & bend over backwards helpful staff & your decor was beautiful & your food was well that was of the charts fabulous can't think of any other superlatives & your prices are great value for money.

The only slight thing was the stairs as I have problems mobility wise climbing stairs & we understand the reason why you can't have a lift so I didn't let it ruin our stay.
