Do not like 2 single beds being pushed together to make a double and also being woke up at 7am by the police banging on the room next door.

GBGBLocation was perfect for us. We stayed in a room on the second floor at the front of the building which had a large double bed and still had room for our dog's bed on the floor. The single pane sash windows meant it was noisy at times, as you'd expect when you're staying in the centre of town. We are early risers so the delivery of barrels at around 7:00 one morning, didn't bother us but it would have if we'd been asleep. The shower over bath was hot and pressure was good. All the staff we met were really friendly. Tea and instant coffee were provided. Fresh milk in the small fridge was very much appreciated. We ate in the bar on our last night - if you're looking for comfort food, the pie and chips with mushy peas, crispy onions and peppercorn sauce was phenomenal!
Bed was OK, but I didn't get on well with the pillows.
