We stayed here a few years ago and were happy to return. The owner is really friendly / helpful and is doing a great job of running the hotel. We were asked to select our breakfast choices in advance and were not disappointed, we had a personal tray delivered to our table each morning with a fantastic array of food. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a spacious bathroom attached. There was a good fan in the room which kept us cool at night. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the station and the river, right in the town centre. The cog railway is very close by. There were plenty of places to eat and a good choice of shops nearby. We would happily stay here again.

There is no lift in the hotel and the stairs are a little awkward, but the owner took our bags up to our room and offered to fetch them down also. It's a shame the bar/restaurant are no longer open, but this seems to be a feature of Germany right now with a lot of hostelries having closed.

Sehr schön eingerichtete Zimmer mit unterschiedlichen Themenbezügen. Außergewöhnlich zugewandt, Thesz und freundliches Personal und ein wirklich beeindruckender Betreiber. Wer dort übernachtet, macht tatsächlich alles richtig.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel..mit Antiquitäten in allen Räumlichkeiten und Zimmern... Mit sehr viel Liebe und Sorgfalt ausgestattet. Der Hotelier , ein sehr junger ,sehr zuvorkommender ,freundlicher Gastgeber, und immer darauf bedacht das es dem Gast gut geht... Einfach nur Spitze. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder... Karin und Conny

äußerlich recht unscheinbar zeigt sich das Hotel innen in einer außergewöhnlichen Austattung, antik und doch modern, mit viel Stil und Liebe zum Detaille. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Betten und Frühstück sehr gut.

man muß damit leben,daß Königswinter gut mit Eisenbahnen ausgestattet ist und am Wochende für Autofahrer gewöhnungsbedürftig Treppensteigen ist OK, solange man es noch kann
