This is the first time I have felt compelled to leave such feedback, but I believe it is important for future guests to be aware of my experience. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was disappointing. The toilet seat was broken, there was visible rust in the sink, and the bathroom was positioned directly at the entrance of the room, which was not ideal. Additionally, the room was not clean, and during my stay, no housekeeping service was provided. I requested a room upgrade and was willing to pay the additional cost; however, I was informed that this was not possible due to existing bookings. While I understand availability constraints, I found the staff to be generally unhelpful and unwilling to assist. As vegetarians, another aspect that made our stay uncomfortable was the strong smell of non-vegetarian food throughout the property. The odour was particularly noticeable in several areas and often felt as though meat was being prepared or cooked nearby. While I understand that different guests have different dietary preferences, the smell was overwhelming and significantly affected our comfort during the stay. What disappointed me the most was the lack of professionalism during check-out. When I was providing feedback about my experience, the staff members were not paying attention and continued with other tasks instead of listening. As a customer, I found this behaviour extremely disrespectful and dismissive. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve both the condition of the rooms and the level of customer service provided to future guests.

La literie. Très mal insonorisé. Les lattes du lit de mon mari étaient cassées et à la place il y avait une planche en bois. Nous avons averti une employée et ils ont changé le sommier mais le matelas était tellement mince que nous avons mal dormi. Payer 185.- est beaucoup trop pour une chambre sans télévision et sans le petit déjeuner

We chose to stay here as never stayed in Lauterbrunnen but love the hikes from there and central lo location to get to other places via train bus or Schiltorn. Hotel Restaurant Jungfrau was good for this.

The place needs refurbishing, our room was fairly modern and generally clean but needed a more thorough clean. I didn’t like having to enter via a metal staircase from the car park. There are food trucks permanently located in the car park of the place and across the road attracting lots of customers, so always noisy when in the room. Also the balcony overlooked the main road, the food trucks and so wasn’t very nice sitting out, the views of the valley were beautiful though. The furniture on the balcony was very basic and not very strong. The floor of the balcony was one huge puddle as the rain had nowhere to drain from and we’d had a few heavy downpours during our stay.
