Taksila Hotel

Excellent Thai and farang breakfast. Olde worlde atmosphere, great facilities. excellent covered parking. excellent service only 20KM to very good value golf near Roiet.

The gym is shut from 11am to 4pm when I would like to use it. Mosqitoes and flies everywhere, lobby, cooridors, and particularly restaurant. No attempt tp get rid of them. Watering plants watered parked cars.

Good location in central Mahasarakham. Large room with nice sofa and very good value for money. Great gym

We’ve stayed at the Taksila many times since 2010 but it has never been updated and is now showing it’s age. The decor is very dated. At the very least the bathrooms need updating as ours has some mould and broken tiles. Its a shame because it could be a really grand place with some investment. The hotel seems to have an emphasis on the conference/event side of its business rather than hotel guests which is reflected in the dates rooms.
