Skye Beach Koh Samui

Stunning hotel. A little out of the way but that's what we wanted. 7/11 in walking distance though. restaurant amazing. Breakfast superb. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite which was absolutely. Fabulous. Definitely recommend

Leider ist das Meer nicht optimal um dort zu schwimmen.

War alles perfekt

The 3 bedroom apartment with the private pool was beautiful, clean, great view. The breakfast at the affliliated Spoons restaurant was also excellent. Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful.

The beach that is right in front of the hotel is very shallow, and during low tide the water recedes all the way out, about a 5 min walk from the hotel. It was neat to watch the beach appear and disappear throughout the day, but just note that the beach is not swimmable all day long.

The property was stunning, peaceful, and exceptionally well-maintained. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of the entire team. The breakfast spread was delicious every morning, and they even arranged a special poolside bakery breakfast for our family — a thoughtful and delightful touch. The food from their in-house restaurant was consistently sumptuous, adding so much charm to the overall experience. A huge highlight was meeting Mr. Sammy, the owner, who graciously took time to chat with us, took our suggestions, and personally showed us their biggest beachfront villa. His gesture of gifting my son a Skye Beach teddy bear was incredibly touching.

Honestly, there’s nothing to complain about — everything was thoughtfully done, and the service was impeccable throughout.

This is a beautiful hotel, our room was spacious and spotless, and the private pool was a real treat. The view from the balcony out to sea, watching the sun set, was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, and it wasn't inconvenient to have to walk along to the restaurant about 100 metres away.

For the price, we felt that Skye Beach lacked a few of the small touches that would have made it perfect. The lift was out of order for most of our stay (which can't be helped), but once it was fixed the staff did not remove the signs which said it was out of order. We therefore carried our heavy bags down from the top floor only to be told when we got to reception that the lift was working! Also, when I asked for a tea bag from the bar/restaurant so that I could make a drink in our room, I was charged 80 baht for it. This is the same tea bag I would be given at breakfast so I felt that this was petty. To be fair to the staff, I did feed this back during our stay and they went out of their way to apologise to us and even delivered a complimentary bottle of fizz and slice of cake to our room. With the location being quite far out of town, I do think a shuttle bus would be really helpful, even just at fixed times of the day, to help with transport around the island. Using Grabs can end up becoming quite expensive.
