The Dolphin Hotel & Restaurant

Bed was tiny, shower has little to no pressure. Didn't have anywhere in the bathroom to hang a towel. Says they have parking, but realistically you can park 3 maybe 4 cars before being blocked in. Didn't enjoy breakfast. Bed isn't very comfortable, especially with back problems. We left a night early for a lovely lodge for cheaper.

Really good quality accommodation and lovely food in the restaurant. It is clear that real pride is taken in providing guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Chambre TWIN spacieuse mais très petite salle de bain pas forcément pratique pour poser ses affaires de toilettes mais ce n'est pas trop gênant. Personnel très sympa et petit déjeuner copieux. Nous avons sélectionné cet hôtel car les autres à Pembroke étaient vraiment trop chers. Les environs ne sont pas très beaux à pied mais en voiture c'est idéal pour faire une halte et visiter la région. Stationnement gratuit dans la rue.

De ligging was voor ons erg goed. De haven van Pembroke ligt echt op wandelafstand van het hotel. De volgende dag namen we de boot naar Ierland. Ideale ligging als tussenstop. Het ontbijt was goed. De bediening wa erg vriendelijk. Het eten in het restaurant viel best mee.

Eigenlijk niets. Misschien de beperkte parkeergelegenheid.

Shower was very slippery no hair dryer provided and no tea refill when staying more than one day and towels where ripped

Breakfast is exceptional.

Broken window handles on our room windows. Had to gain access from the lane way behind the building which is very dark and not too nice at night.

The room was lovely - I think we had the smallest/least equipped room, having seen the other rooms as we left but it was nicely decorated, clean and suitable for our stay. Check in systems were in place for our late arrival and easy to follow. We had no interactions with anyone running the actual hotel. The breakfast was presented well. When it said breakfast included, I didn't expect an £8 cap/a public breakfast place but it covered the basics for a decent breakfast and drink. We had to pay extra to get what we actually wanted for our breakfast (hot chocolate for my daughter rather than tea/coffee, for example) but that was ok.

I don't want to be critical as the overnight stay was pleasant, lots of care has been taken to make it a nice stay. I did find the breakfast time unpleasant though. The food was amazingly presented and really nice. It was the atmosphere that was the issue. Two females were there and they were nice but not attentive whatsoever. Private conversations and not at low volume, make up being done in the mirror in the breakfast area, and when they enjoyed the song that was playing, the volume went up. Way beyond what I'd expect to the point where we had to raise our voices to be able to have a conversation at our table. There were a couple of other things I'd rather not share here, it really wasn't what I was expecting and resulted in us leaving disappointed. However, the hotel is very nice and I'd recommend it. I'd just suggest the breakfast service is looked at again.
