Huntington Surf Inn

It was small and quaint. The guy who ran it was very nice. We could tell he lived the place and wanted everyone’s stay to be a good one. There are less than 20 rooms total and each room has its own beach theme which we thought was super cute! It’s right across the street from the beach and has a cute community deck with seating to enjoy the view. We go the last room available which was right in front of the check in office. That was a little awkward as our window was only a few feet away so we could clearly hear each other talking and if we opened our window we could see the manager. But we spent most of our time outdoors so it wasn’t too bad.

Good location, clean, good value for money

Had the best time at Huntington Surf Inn, right on the beach, gorgeous porch area to watch sunset, bodyboards and beach gear free to use, less than 5 min walk to the main row of shops and restaurants. Staff were so friendly and the bed was really comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a holiday in HB!

Location was fantastic, staff were super friendly and helpful, we loved our stay here! We stayed in room 5, the surf room and it was great. The outdoor porch area was perfect for sunset, and we loved that the property had bodyboards / buckets and spades / deck chairs to borrow for the day for free!

There was a hole in the wall and the air conditioner didn’t work very well. However, the staff was friendly and the location was awesome. The bathroom was also very nice. The view from the patio was fantastic.

Perfect place to stay one night during a road trip.

This place is a motel. Not worth the price. Wear flip flops in the shower if you don't want a toe fungus. Shower is terrible. I can't believe the other reviews on this place?, are they living in barns? I just paid less for a hotel in Venice, Italy with a view of the canal! This place is a rip off. Go somewhere else. Stay more inland and drive to the beach. You'll thank me. In all fairness, the check-in staff was nice.

No frills but the room did have a cool decor-each of the rooms has a different theme. Right across the street from Huntington beach and an easy walk to the pier and downtown. Super pleasant hosts and free parking. I have seen some other reviews that complained about PCH...first, you are staying on PCH! You have a view of the ocean and yes PCH is here too-you don't get one without the other. The noise level was not bad. I stayed here with my son and would be happy to do so again. I also appreciated that the manager kept me updated via text, and since we were arriving after hours, included easy to follow access instructions.
