Comfortable bed. Breakfast choice.

No chairs in room so had to lie on bed to watch TV. Noise of late night drinkers.

Lovely place to stay. Stopped off for overnight stay on longer trip, ev charger was free and available which was amazing. We were running a little late but they called us to check all ok and confirm our arrival time, very thoughtful indeed. Breakfast was delicious and staff were all very polite, engaging and attentive. Room itself was beautiful and a very comfy bed as well. Great night sleep before heading onwards on our travels. Definitely would stay again and would recommend as a must stop and visit place!

Good location, nice village. Nice building. Room was small but fine. Good bathroom. Good breakfast, but super slow service. Manager was helpful.

Mattress needs changing in the Indian Runner room. No support at all. Bedroom doors all need soft close mechanisms rather than slamming hard... every time. Don't need disco music piped into the dining room at 8am, when the bassline comes straight through the bedroom floor. Breakfasts took an hour to serve. My wife had a cup of tea and a bowl of porridge. Crazy. Not the hotel's fault directly, but obviously it attracts idiots... got back just before midnight to hear a party going on in the next room to ours... loud music, screaming, singing. Shouted to turn it down, then had to go out into the corridor, where three (of the eight) of them were, shouting and carrying on. Might have a Ferrari in the car park, but you can't buy manners, or class. Hotel needs to be a lot stronger on this stuff if they're going to attract this level of clientele.

We have stayed in the area before and had been recommended to try the fuzzy duck for a meal which I’ve thought would be an ideal stop gap on our way to Hampshire, which we do frequently from Chester in Cheshire. We enjoyed the ambience, size of the property, friendly staff, the menu and delivery of the food was delicious and presented well.

The full English breakfast wasn’t very appetising. The sausage skins were very hard, mushrooms and mushrooms tasteless.
