Opal Suites Apartments

Very convenient with family, useful kitchenette, 2 separate rooms and bathrooms, reasonable laundry - ideal to travel around playa and use as a base.

Beds were a bit hard, pots and pans were a bit old, but overall great value for money!!! It was very comfortable.

it qas spacious, very good location, close to everything but not in the middle of the crowd. Nice and safe neigbourhood. Big supermarket 1 minut away ans olenty of restaurants.

The pool was nice. Location was ok.

The add for the property clearly stated “daily housekeeping”. After two full days of no housekeeping, I messaged the concierge about the issue. We were out of towels, and almost out the toilet paper. There was only 1 bathroom sized trash can in the entire place. So, it needed emptied. I was told that housekeeping was NOT included, and neither was toilet paper! After I screen shot the facility’s own add and sent it to the concierge, he agreed to have housekeeping come in the following day. They never showed up. Again, I messaged. It was on our second to last full day that housekeeping came in and did the minimum. If this information would have been disclosed, I would have made other arrangements.

Modern, comfortable and clean. Hard to find good places like this one at Playa del Carmen. Try this one for sure.

I prefer softer beds. This was good enough though.

Pillows

The size of the one bedroom was perfect, shower head was nice, prefect water pressure, provided everything for cooking and living, great location, close walk to the beach and 5th Avenue, it was also around many restaurants. Great and friendly staff.

I have 2 complaints which was the comfort of the mattress, it’s felt like I was sleeping on plywood. Too hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were oversized as well. My neck and back were in pain. I also did not care for the view of the building wall, it could use some fake greenery or a mural of some sort, it felt like I was in prison on the patio.
