Sauerland Alpin Hotel

Good breakfast, nice assortment of breads, cold cuts, spreads, yogurts, and the usual egg and bacon. Huge room with a great bathtub, thick walls so almost no noise. Nice pool.

Mattresses could be better, but were far from bad. It is an old hotel, so a bit tacky, with carpets everywhere, and one or two items of furniture could use some maintenance.

What a place! Great location, outstanding service, nice food! Very welcoming and helpful staff! We didn’t check the swimming pool, but looked like people were enjoying themselves. Tasty freshly prepared food, with good variety, nice selection of drinks in the bar, including good single malts. We definitely will visit again!

Beautiful location with walking routes around the corner. Great that you can bring a dog. Buffet including drinks is a great value. We liked our big room!

cold swimming pool and just one small sauna functioning. Restaurant staff demanding me to speak German when they thought that I’m Dutch?!

Good location, 30min away from Winterberg. Very neat hotel. Rooms clean, comfortable and warm. Restaurant had a lovely evening menu. Sauna to relax, bar and pool table to entertain.
