Hotel Mimosa Airport

I don't recommend a stay here. Got electrocuted by some cut wires close to the pool and had food poisoning after eating dinner (spent 3 weeks in Africa and it was the first time I had problems with my stomach). The dormitory room is full of mosquitoes and hard to sleep. If you value your live don't come here.

Staff was friendly and made us very good dinber at 23:00 . We had to leave at 4:00 and security even stayed awake on our behalf

Road leading to the property was horrible. Our pickup was an hour late

It was a beautiful location in a nice village close to the sea. We were only there to pass the time during a layover, but we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who did everything they could to comfort us, provide us with a meal and ensure we got back to the airport on time. Highly recommend to use the transfer they offer. It’s a good price and safe option. The drive takes 30 min from DSS AIRPORT to Hotel Mimosa. Wish you could have stayed longer!

Amet (owner) was very helpful and kind - excellent customer service. The staff invited me to eat lunch with them daily. The room I booked (dorm) wasn’t available and the owner upgraded me at no extra cost. Property well maintained, well equipped with A/C and fans, soap, toilet paper, on site restaurant and grocery store. The garden and pool with seating area is beautiful and relaxing. There is also a craft market just outside.

Nothing. Everything contributed to and excellent stay.

Not many things

This property is located in a very small village very far to the airport or any other part of Dakar. I was looking for an overnight stay closer to the airport and I booked on this property. It almost cost me a lot because there are no taxis there. You will find one at the airport but for the return it is complicated. Fortunately they helped me with one they know who accompanied me to the airport

Cospa is good. The host can speak English. There are shops and restaurants in the hotel, so you can rest assured even at night.
