Cabañas El Paraíso Ometepe

I loved our stay at this resort! It had a beautiful view of the volcano. A lovely beach is right beyond the back gates. The staff was very helpful and always way to find for what ever we needed. I enjoyed the food we had there. It is a very tranquil spot. Our taxi driver had no issues finding the place from the ferry. The cabanas were very clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the front porch in the morning.

Nice place, and very nice staff. They made us feel welcome the entire time. The only thing to keep in mind is the entrance. The entrance is a small gravel road. There are hardly any signals and the road is not so well maintained.

We loved our stay here, the rooms are a good size, the garden areas are well maintained as is the swimming pool. The breakfast and other food/drink options are great and the staff helpful, competent and cheerful. it’s about a ten minutes drive from San Jose Del Sur ferry port and you will need a bike or atv as it is quite remote, located down a few unmade tracks, backing onto the lake. A lovely peaceful spot and a great place to return to after a day out on the island.
