Garddfon Inn

The room was spotless and had tea/coffee and kettle, great for an evening/ early morning cuppa Bathroom very clean and modern. Views out to sea very nice. Good evening meal in pub but ensure you pre-book table if Fri or weekend as pub gets busy.

Just one led bulb out , should have been spotted by staff . Very minor annoyance.

No breakfast available at all. Coffee facilities in the room needed to be better to compensate for no breakfast. I mean, we all need a good coffee in the morning.

Great location, right at the coast. Food in the restaurant was lovely! Bed was comfortable and there was a good fan provided.

Some staff members were not very friendly. I felt like I was an inconvenience at check in - they just stomped up the stairs, opened the door for me and told me to pop my key in a box at check out. No information at all about wi fi, check out times, etc. At dinner, I asked for allergen info and was just handed a menu and told to look on there (no allergy info on there!) Some staff members were actually very friendly and helpful so this doesn’t apply to all. Room was quite small and the shower wasn’t great. No breakfast available.

Mid week stay, Easy check in, with separate entrance to rooms from the pub. A welcomed fan was in the room to help on a hot summers day. Superb location, enjoying the sun sat on the bench seats across the road overlooking the Menai Straits. Lovely views made it the perfect location for our evening meal and a drink. Great menu and lovely food. Very friendly staff and locals. Clean and comfortable room with Tea/coffee making facilities. We requested an iron which was brought up to us. Our room was on the side of the pub so couldn't take advantage for the view from the room but we booked last minute and was the only room available. Parking wasn't an issue for us as we arrived early afternoon but did get quite busy later on and I can imagine you might have to wait around to get a close parking spot. We would definitely stay again.

Our room was right above the restaurant kitchen and when we returned to the room later on we could hear a extractor fan going, on investigating this was due to the room being right above the kitchen for the pub. The fan went off around 9.30pm so was all good for sleeping. Wifi not the best, Maybe due to our room being at the back end of the pub. Dogs are allowed in the pub, but not in the rooms. TV on the small size but only watched whilst falling asleep. Shame they don't offer breakfast.

The location, dinner and room were all excellent.
