Rhodeside Lodge

Nice little lodge that’s removed a bit from the the main town but still only just a couple of minutes away. Common area was very spacious and had everything needed. The owner was incredible - she showed us to our room and all of the amenities and was super cheerful! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her!

Only downside is the sharing of the space (which is outlined in the booking so you know what you’re signing up for). There’s one bathroom to be shared with a couple of other rooms so you may need to wait your turn to use it. Not really an issue though, just something to be aware of. Aside from that, keep in mind you’re sharing the space with another couple of rooms - could be loud. The night was quiet for us but in the morning some of the other guests were super loud early in the morning. No fault of the lodge, just a part of having a shared space and something to be aware of.

Told staff on arrival our nights maybe late Entry to room she told to enter thou side door as front would be locked But when we arrived back Sunday night the inside door was locked so we had no way of getting in to our room We were lucky that another guest was still up and asked him if one of us could use his room to get to unlock inside door 😡

I have been to Rhodeside before. I love the people and the facilities
