The room was basic but very cosy and clean and had everything I needed. Claire was really helpful and friendly. Dinner in the evening was amazing and really good value for money. Breakfast was great too. Would definitely return.

From the outset Claire and Neil were excellent hosts. They showed me to my comfortable room, stowed my bike and showed me the lay of the land in terms of food and amenities in the local area.

Claire et son mari sont très chaleureux et accueillants. Discrets, et en même temps très prévenants. La chambre est hyper confortable et lumineuse, ainsi que très bien équipée. Surpris par l'aspect extérieur, c'est le meilleur séjour de notre voyage de 11 jours au pays de Galles. Calme et silence. Nous avons mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel les 2 soirs: plats maisons copieux et délicieux. Large choix pour le petit déjeuner préparé à la demande. un grand merci......

Sauberes Hotel, sehr preiswert, alles total einfach geregelt, leckeres Frühstück. Interessante Gegend

Bisschen weg von Stadtzentrum in unmittelbarer Nähe wenig Pubs.

Only thing i could say is a proper coffee at breakfast would have been nice rather than instant. Other than that nothing. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a very comfortable stay. Claire was very helpful, friendly, and responsive to my messages. The room was clean and showers were hot. Kettle, tea, coffee and bottled water were provided in the room. Breakfast was fantastic with very generous portions and variety! The hotel is in a great location for hiking in the Brecon Beacons - we drove up to 20 minutes to the start of hiking trails. Would definitely come back and stay in the future!

Friendly, helpful staff. Great food, both evening meal and breakfast. Very clean room and bathroom. Convenient parking.

For me, everything was ideal. Others may find the rooms a little small. As a single occupant, it was fine for me.

Staff were genuinely friendly and the breakfast was ridiculously large and high quality, especially when considering it was included in the low price paid for the room

My single room was small, but it was en-suite, and had a fridge and the main thing for me was that it was quiet so I was able to get a good nights sleep. (I had been a concerned about noise from the pub, but no problem.)
