D'Muncuk Huts Lembongan

It is located on the seafront, but the bungalows need a lot of cleaning and maintenance.

There were a lot of cobwebs in the room, and I also found rodent droppings in the bathroom. The shower didn't work properly.

Location is amazing. There is a coastal walkway from the northern end of the beach that gets you around the headland to Jungutbatu in 20 mins.

Private villages with four seperate rooms on tamarind bay - has large infinity pool looking over tamarind bay and plenty of sun beds. Beds very comfortable and rooms small but nice.

This property is a bit rundown - the bathrooms need to be refurbished which is meant to occur in November 2025. My bathroom was not properly cleaned on arrival. Sunlounge covers need replacing (dirty and marked). There was rubbish and a broken toilet in yard on our arrival. The only staff member was very young man - tried hard but spoke absolutely no English so communicating was challenging. Location is not great re access to warungs, restaurants and shops (remote and roads very rough and full of potholes). Only stay here if you have scooters because you will need them to go anywhere. We stayed only one night and cancelled the rest of our stay - I very much appreciated the owners letting us cancel, I think they understood the location could not work for us. With a little work this could be a fantastic place for those who are able to hire scooters for their stay and are happy to stay in a more secluded private location with a beautiful pool and view. My tip for owner, in common area, replace one set of table and chairs with lounge chairs, coffee table and day bed - it needs a comfortable seated area for guests.

Beautiful location in Tamarind Bay, right on the water. Amazing that there is only 4 huts so very private. Pool was amazing right on the water and we never swam with anyone else. Room was pretty basic Bali hut, no frills. They did make our room up multiple times a day and laid mosquito net over bed at dusk which was a lovely touch. Staff were amazing in organising anything you need - scooters, laundry, tours etc. for very reasonable price. We were organised a tour to do snorkelling with Manta Rays which was just us 2 (beat the touristy crowds) and a local man on his boat - AMAZING!!

Location is pretty isolated. Easy shortcut to take to Mushroom Bay on foot (15mins). There are a few restaurants on tamarind bay that were pretty good, but not a lot happening. ONLY confident/ competent drivers on scooters as the road leading to property is pretty terrible, steep and rocky in parts.

Communication excellent with the manager via What’s App he organised scooters for us and nothing too much trouble, nice infinity pool and scenery

Dirty bathroom and coffee cops and drinking glasses .. bathroom needs a good deep clean it was filthy around shower tap and it’s very dark and unclean

Perfect views, great staff, bed prepared each night, pool clean, only 4 huts so place basically to ourselves, quiet.

Cannot fault anything. Location is abit isolated so if wanting to explore you need bike or book an island bus tour. No restaurant for lunch or dinner but walk along beach to restaurants next door, a few to choose from. Breakfast is available at D'Muncuk Huts.

A little isolated but only 15-20 minute walk To Mushroom Bay. 👍

Loved the hut accommodation & the pool overlooking the ocean. Staff were so lovely.

A bit far away but other than that it’s perfect.
