Läget är unikt och fantastiskt om man vill ha en stilla och isolerad strand för simning och bad.

Maten var tyvärr under standard. Vi ville helst äta thailändskt men det blev aldrig något mer än frukost som va ok. Känns som om mycket lämnats åt slumpen och kraften är slut att vilja göra något för att gästerna ska trivas . Vi lämnade tidigare än planerat pga undermåligt kök och otroligt obekväma sängar. Och vi har rest mycket i många länder. För 10 år sedan var detta en fantastisk plats att vila på, men nu känns det som ingen längre riktigt bryr sig om vad gästerna tycker. Tror de klarar det bra på dag -besökare och folk som stannar en eller två nätter. Men det är så synd för platsen har en enorm potential att vara ett paradis för de som vill stanna längre.

La plage « bottle beach » est en effet très calme et isolé ce qui rend cet endroit franchement magnifique.

L’accès a l’établissement est scandaleux, nous avions loué un scooter afin de nous rendre à la destination qui était à 35 minutes du port mais une fois arrivé devant la dernière ligne droite ce fut le drame, nous nous sommes embourbés et accidentés dans un chemin de terre rocailleux et pentu à mourir. Une fois sur place, n’importe quel service demandé au staff est payant. Après leur avoir expliqué que nous avions eu un accident en essayant d’accéder à l’établissement, aucune réelle empathie n’a été montrée envers nous et un tarif de 200 baht afin de ramener le scooter sur une route convenable nous a été demandé plus 100 baht par personne pour nous déposer au scooter. Je trouvais déjà cela un petit peu scandaleux. Mais le lendemain après avoir déposé le scooter au début du chemin délabré, nous avons croisé un membre du staff qui descendait la pente vers l’hôtel et lui avons poliment demandé s’il était possible de monter avec lui car nous allions dans la même direction et ils nous à réclamer à nouveau 100baht par personne ! Sachant que nous n’étions même pas à 1km de la destination. Je ne vais pas citer les nombreuses fois au restaurant où nous n’avons jamais reçu notre commande ni les prix et boissons moyennes proposés sur place.

We enjoyed the secluded location, being right on the beach and the restaurant was delicious and a good variety. In the evening the staff put on a great fire show.

So if the waves are too big to get a boat you have to get a 4x4 down the very hairy road! But it was quite a fun experience but it did mean we couldn't come and go at ease.

We liked the views and the atmosphere. It was very quiet and peaceful but…

there was only one restaurant available and it closed at 10pm plus they only take cash. It was a STRUGGLE getting to the place if you don’t use their transport. You can only use 4x4 to get there, taxis don’t go there and bikes can’t be driven all the way down due to the terrible road. They have their own taxi service but not all the time. So we had to struggle all the way down in the pitch black darkness since there is no lighting on the way, so carry a flashlight. They don’t have an ATM.

Писал писма о переносе дат, не получил никакого ответа. Сказали не получали не писем не смс, что враньё. Нету горячей воды, ёршика для унитаза в намере.

Beautiful beach , good hiking

Too much litter on the beach. Not enough effort by resorts to keep the whole beach clean.
