I went on a hike and stayed just for one night. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was perfect. The hotel is located near the railway station, in interesting old building. The staff was amiable and polite. My stay was very short, but the hotel had everything I required to have a great rest

The room is in an ancient building in the center of the village. Easy to find and only a few minutes walk from the train station. The staff is really friendly and professional as well. Nice room with a big bathroom, table, and chairs. I had breakfast at the last morning. If you can not find anything to eat there, I do not know where you will find it. Over the course of my breakfast, the staff was refilling everything on the buffet all the time. I highly recommend it. There are a few hiking paths starting next to the hotel as well.

If you are a light sleeper, you have to bring earplugs for the night. On both sides of the river are train tracks and the freight trains run all night. But that goes for all the hotels along the river.

Hotel Everything about this hotel was perfect! The room was a good size and clean, the breakfast buffet was enormous, varied, and delicious, and the building itself is beautiful, while still functional as a hotel and restaurant. The location is ideal for anyone doing the Rheinsteig. Excellent value for money.

My room was on the top floor on a particularly warm day, so it was a little bit hot and stuffy in the night.
