Sigiriya Cashew Palace Resort

We enjoyed our stay at Cashew Palace Resort very much. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The garden was beautifully designed and well kept. The breakfast was generous, varied and delicious. The staff were extremely kind and attentive and took excellent care of our family. They took us on a fantastic jeep safari to the nearby Eco-Park where we saw awesome wildlife, including many elephants. Curious monkeys came to watch us while we played in the pool. A giant squirrel enjoyed some nuts on a branch next to our porch. The resort is also great base to explore the area’s cultural and tourist offerings.

Well managed hotel in a quiet location about 20 minutes by Tuk from Lion Rock. Clean rooms & pool with good quality food.

We liked the kind staff, the decoration, the big beds, the spacious bathroom, the garden view with the jungle sounds and the amazing swimming pool.

There was a small smell of mould in the bedroom that was on the ground floor.

Sijaintí Habarana-Danbulla tien tuntumassa oli monella tavalla hyvä, Sigiriya on lähellä mutta paikka on rauhallinen ja Danbullaan pääsi syömään tuktukilla helposti. Huone oli avara ja siisti.

Uima-altaan vesi ei ollut aivan kristallinkirkasta joten jätimme sen käyttämättä.

Väldig vänlig personal som hjälpte till att lösa de frågor vi hade.

Restaurangen är väldigt liten (3 bord). Som på många ställen är det inget fokus på att servera maten samtidigt ( vi var 5 personer).

The property is well kept and maintained. The small pool is lovely, a good temperature and clean. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful.
