Aurora Park Inn & Suites

The rooms aren’t anything special but the staff (esp Decerie) made the stay! They were all professional, nice and easy to talk with. If I’m ever in Dawson Creek again, this is where I’ll stay.

Breakfast was awful. Pre-frozen egg patties heated in a microwave, dishes washed in dining room area where guests could see. Furniture in bad need of replacing…looked like they bought used furniture from value village. All plates were mismatched, as if staff were asked to bring in any extra plates they may have at home, plastic utensils. Whole hotel was just “tired” looking and in need of upgrades.

This property is used a lot by road crews with very dirty boots; I doubt if the carpets can ever be restored . The carpets need to be replaced with vinyl flooring. The carpet in our room was especially gross and the sofa was badly stained. The only reason we stayed was because of the awesome jetted double tub and endless hot water. Staff person Luke was very nice and helpful.

Clean, quiet, good price, nice laundry facilities. Helpful staff and decent included breakfast. Room well appointed with refrigerator, small kitchenette. Nearby Canadian Tire and Walmart. Perfect place for a rest and resupply stop. #

An excellent place to stay.

Clientele was somewhat sketchy, but the room was nice. Very quiet and spacious. Furniture could use some updating, but everything worked well. Breakfast was good, but very limited! The breakfast room was not well stocked on my second morning, even though there was still a full half hour left.

Guest laundry

Pre-authorisation - took $150 & not paid back for up to 2 weeks. This is a very poor option as other hotels reimburse within 24 hours - choose wisely...

Affordable price for a good stay. Breakfast was good in the morning.

Great location

This is a terrific Budget Hotel. The property is a little worn around the edges, but nothing incredibly noticeable. I was completely satisfied with my stay here. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, great price.
