very quiet location, very comfortable beds

no food service, all the ‘resort’ amenities were pushed to a corner or covered with sheets.

- Quiet, quiet, quiet! Best sleep ever! - Clean room and comfortable bed. - Good location, close to the Yoho / Banff national parks. - Great host.

The rooms were very clean. We loved our time here. Doris is an amazing cook and hostess. Her husband is wonderful as well. We were guests in their home. If you want to get into nature this is a perfect spot. Do you remember when people used to sit and talk to each other without the distractions of the internet, television and gaming? You can find this when you stay here. Doris cooked us a fabulous meal of Schnitzel. So good!!! We enjoyed our meal and drinks out on the deck watching the day fade into night. Doris let my partner pick the raspberries in the yard. My partner's mom (who has passed away) and her used to pick berries together. She had the opportunity to relive a cherished memory of her Mom surrounded by the beautiful mountains and wonderful fresh air. At Glenogle you are surrounded by mother nature‘s beauty. You can unplug from the busyness and noise of the Internet and TV and plug into the people around you. Enjoy the serenity and the views! I would highly recommend you come and stay here whenever you are in Golden, BC. We will definitely be back. Until then Doris take care of yourself and your family.

Breakfast was superb!

1. There was no A/C or fan. Very hot at night, could not sleep well. 2. Our rooms were switched. No balcony, no walkout to garden , no sitting area, no twin queen beds. 3. Found bugs and spiders in the bathroom. 4. Towels were not properly washed, had a foul smell.

it looked interesting and different from normal hotel accommodations. very quiet and peaceful

nothing definitive that I didn’t like.
