Very dated and old fashioned rooms, very small, badly in need of repair and decoration some timber doors and skirting were rotten and my colleague had mould in his room.

Very pleasant staff.

I liked everything but the fizzy cold red wine

Staff were very friendly but minimal English spoken - which made communication difficult. Hotel was supposed to have car parking - IT DID NOT. Car had to be parked on streets behind the hotel - spaces were nearly all full all the time. I arrived and stayed during a festival which made initial access to the the hotel extremely difficult - it would have been helpful to have been advised this beforehand. I stayed in a self contained loft apartment which was great but very hot at night - no airconditioning. No Wi Fi that I could find. Breakfast very basic. Menu limited - food good but hotel locked up by 11pm and no food after 9pm approx - I was working late in the evening so was unable to get an evening meal or even a drink when I returned to the hotel.

Everything about the place they are very friendly

The hotel is really in the centre of Pavullo. As I was hiking the "via Vandelli", it is basically located 5 metres away from the end of the second leg. A part from the hike, it is really close to all highlights of Pavullo. The place is clean, and the fact that you've got a restaurant just there can be handy, if you don't have the time to look for one. It is also probably the cheapest accomodation in Pavullo.

The hosts were not really great. Not that they did anything specifically wrong, but I really didn't feel welcome. Not a must, but when you get to a hotel it feels much better to see a smile and a "Welcome! we'll come and get your room as soon as we can!" Rather than a set of questions, with one minute in between each to serve customers at the bar. The hotel room was small but ok. The bathroom however is sub-standard: small, no windows, no mechanical ventilation of sorts, no shower-plate and no shower curtains. Also, no hot water. To be more specific, the water was "warmish", just warm enough to allow a shower without freezing, but honestly standard hot water is something you generally get even at a youth hostel or at a campsite.
