When it rains outside, there's always sunshine inside. A perfect, family-run hotel. If you want to feel at home while staying at Wolfgangsee, this is the right choice.

Walking distance to nice bathing possibilities, playground for old and young, great food and very friendly staff

The hotel is excellent. Not far from hiking trails, the bus station, and just a few minutes walk from the lake. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the hosts are extremely hospitable, and the breakfast is great!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights and were absolutely thrilled. The location is excellent – about 10 minutes by car to St. Wolfgang or a 45-minute walk. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel. From the accommodation, you can take a beautiful circular walk to Strobl and back, or continue along the lakeside path. There’s also a nice playground nearby. The hotel has a sauna (which we didn’t use) and a very pleasant covered outdoor terrace where you can sit even when it’s raining (we enjoyed it twice). The restaurant offers a combination of traditional Austrian and Thai cuisine – we tried both and everything was delicious. At breakfast, we appreciated the wide selection of fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as excellent homemade spreads. But what truly makes this place stand out are the incredibly kind and helpful owners, who also serve in the restaurant. They never forgot to check if we were missing anything, the owner greeted us with a cheerful “Ahoj” in Czech, and when we left, we even received a bottle of homemade elderflower syrup – the same one they use for their Hugo cocktails, which we happily indulged in during happy hour :) We honestly can’t think of a single thing to criticize – the warm and friendly service made everything even more enjoyable. Thank you!

The hotel is super clean and cozy. We loved that it’s close to the lake, restaurants, and downtown Wolfgangsee –really easy to find.
