Badaway is such a kind and helpful man one of the nicest and most genuine in all Egypt. The room is amazing was on the rooftop and had the whole rooftop terrace and a outdoor kitchen to yourself. The views were insane. So beautiful over the nile and even behind the views at sunset over village and lake were amazing. Luxor is crazy so much nicer to stay in this chill village. Was super easy to get across 5 pounds. Cheap as. Ferry always goes. Badaway picked us up as we arrived late and we were so grateful. Bed comfy, shower hot and this was good. WiFi slow as all of Egypt especially during the world Cup we had data so didn't worry us.

Memnoun's house was, by far, the best place we stayed during our trip and it all comes down to the host. He's extremely helpful, we ordered breakfast and dinner there over the course of our stay and he's a very good cook as well. Nothing but positive things to say and not only would we stay there again, we wish more hosts could live up to his standards.

It was so nice that I atayed on for some extra dayes.

Nice spot in the west bank, very quiet and peaceful. Badawy picked me up at the ferry at 2 am, when I didn't even ask him to and I didn't have internet connection to let him know my arrival time. He gave me tips to visiting the temples. The room was very big, clean and has a comfortable bet.

It was the perfect place for us to stay. It's in a peaceful part of a Luxor, away from all the touristy agitation (yet only 10 minutes away by foot from the public ferry). The bed was super comfortable, the flat was well equipped, and its shared bathroom was convenient to use (I'm mentioning this because it's not always the case in Egypt !) and clean. This guesthouse is incredible value for the money it costs. But the best part for us were the hosts. They treated us as people and not just as tourists, which is rare in highly touristic places. We will not forget their help, their simplicity and their sincerity. If we ever go back to Luxor, we won't stay anywhere else and we 100% recommend you to stay there too!

Very nice place with nice and helpfull staff. I liked it so much that I prolonged my stay with three days.

The top floor doesn't always have WIFI-connection. But that is easy solved by going down a floor. Then You can go up again.

Of all the hostels that I have visited, few hosts were as friendly and willing as Badawy and his family. Not only does he get you and advises you the best activities to do in Luxor but he also includes you as one of his family. I only have words of thanks to Badawy and his people
