Old world grace and elegance - and not tired and worn out! Large comfortable room with renovated bathroom and period appropriate updates.

Wifi kept cutting out on simple streaming tasks.

Everything ! This is a beautiful, historic hotel with great character and the location is perfect ! The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay.

We spent a lovely evening in Hotel Palacio Carlos 1. It’s beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us with our requests. Breakfast was delicious and only €6. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location on the Camino route, close to restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. Excellent staff.

Noisy, but that is to be expected at a property of that age.

It was a unique structure.

Simply due to the age of the property, there was a definite chill in the room.

This is a lovely older hotel. Our room was comfortable but a little dated. Staff was very friendly and the 2 pm check in is useful for people walking the Camino.
