Country House La Bursch

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this extraordinary hotel for two nights, and it was, without a doubt, the most enchanting experience we've ever had. We've stayed in many five-star hotels around the world, but nothing compares to the charm, character, and warmth we found here. From the moment we arrived, we were transported into what felt like a living fairytale. The hotel is steeped in history, and every corner is filled with thoughtful details and beautiful touches that reflect its rich past and unique personality. It’s not just a place to stay, it’s an experience to remember. What truly set it apart was the atmosphere: intimate, romantic, and utterly magical. Whether it was the timeless decor, the exceptional hospitality, or the peaceful ambiance, everything came together to create a sense of wonder that stayed with us long after we left. The toilet itself (in our room, the cheapest option) smelled a little bit but I assume it's just old pipes :) Everything else was spectacular

Beautiful hotel nestled in the mountains. Lovely garden area, with amazing pool and outdoor relaxation. Great onsite restaurants. Both had amazing food.

The room was a bit weird. Toilet in the room with no privacy. We also had a room that was on the bottom floor where it's right outside the garden area where people have drinks and tea most the day. So there was a bit of noise.

We had an amazing stay at La Bursch. The food in the restaurant was very impressive. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful. A lot of authentic details are preserved and combined with modern comfort. The lovely view and the sounds of nature are very calming. We will come back!

La Bursch is an amazing place of which the experience is taken to a higher level by the staff and the restaurant. There are a few quirks though

The hotel does not have airconditioning or a fan, which in hot days can become quite uncomfortable. The restaurant is only open from Thursday to Sunday. From Monday to Wednesday you can have a bite at l'Orta. This is new and still has some startup issues. Coincidentally on the day of the arrival there was a fair organized in the garden. Which in itself is nice but didn't allow for any privacy for the hotel guests. Especially as the pool was also accessable for visitors of the fair this was somewhat awkward.

Amazing location and amazing staff as well.

Breakfast was a bit poor, even if with excellent choices. But eggs weren’t included: a shame.
