Château De Razay

Beautiful setting and relaxed atmosphere. Very quiet. Dinner was delicious. Comfortable beds and nice breakfast.

We rented the Chalet which was quite dated. Also there were some basic maintenance and housekeeping issues (broken light fittings, table with loose legs and child's drawing on it, not cleaned under the sofa bed, mismatch of tableware..)

Hier kann man auch mehr als eine Nacht übernachten! Auf jeden Fall genug Zeit einplanen. Am frühen Nachmittag anreisen und ab in den Pool. Dann das Abendessen genießen - ein "Muss". Hervorragende Küche mit besonderen Gerichten. Das Frühstück ist auch ein "Muss". Sehr lecker und vielfältig. Anschließend unbedingt einen Spaziergang durch den schönen Park machen.

Der Preis ... aber: Qualität hat halt ihren Preis. Wie werden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten.

Bon accueil. Cabane dans un beau parc au calme. Très bon petit-déjeuner et lit très confortable.

Le prix relativement élevé de la nuitée en cabane n'est pas en adéquation avec la qualité à laquelle on pourrait s'attendre. Ventilateur hyper bruyant, impossible de dormir lorsqu'il fonctionne, lunette des toilettes démontée et bouton de chasse d'eau désaxé. Chambre partagée avec araignées et autres insectes (phobique des petites bêtes s'abstenir !!) Ne pas oublier que les cabanes sont quasiment dans un petit bois.

Location is nice

Room was way to hot - no airconditioning available. We specifically asked beforehand if the room temperature was reasonable, and they claimed it was perfectly OK. This was far from the truth. Sadly, even with 3 ventilators, we were unable to use the room during the day (+30 degrees). We had a “deluxe room”. At night (after 12) the room cooled down with all windows open. However - there was no way of keeping (a lot of) insects out. Cleaning was not done well (e.g insects in the bathtub shortly after cleaning, hairs when we first got into the room) but in such a hot room, we understand that it’s not nice for the personnel to work in such conditions. Unbelievable that they didn’t add airconditioning when renovating. The pool looks way nicer on picture than in real life. We’ll never return.
