The interior was fine, but the outside was very shabby. It all could do with revarnishing. Chairs where broken and loungers cleaned off. Little things that makes the difference. Did not know how to use the hot tub. The television was not tuned in . Having said this the owner came promptly to help us. The place really could do with a welcome pack, to tell people how to use the hot tub and the password for the wi fi

the property had everything we needed for the stay and the hosts were very responsive

the only issue was that I booked it there as my boyfriend likes fishing but unfortunately, when we came they were doing some lake improvements/counting the fish so he could not fish. but other than that we were very happy with our stay

No breakfast offered. No washing up liquid, dishcloth or teatowel for washing up. Dishwasher in the kitchen but no dishwasher tablets. No hand soap provided. No hand towels provided. Cleanliness not up to scratch and lodge generally needs some maintenance. Was stated games provided and none. Also stated slippers provided and none. Had use of hot tub but only 2 towels provided. Bit disappointing as have visited several times before a few years ago and not to the same standard.

Some of the details were not as in the advertised details. Needed some maintenance in places. Information from property was helpful but also gave the impression of being very regulated whereas the owners/managers were actually overly relaxed.

It is well presented, clean and comfortable in a lovely quiet location with a great view over a fishing lake. Very peaceful and relaxing with lots of places to go walking

Absolutely stunning views, a perfect location and our Lodge was exceptional. We had the most relaxing time and the Hot Tub was an amazing added bonus. Would definitely return again and would definitely recommend.
