The Garden Room

The garden looked like a tranquil haven In summer. A peaceful place to sit and watch the animals.

The room was over crowded with heavy furniture.

Sue greeted us on arrival and walked us round to the Garden Room. The room and garden were exactly like the pictures. A wonderful surprise was a hamper of goodies, milk, butter in the fridge, tea, coffee and a bottle of bubbly. Sue has a menagerie of birds and animals that add to the magic of the place.

We loved everything. Such a cosy cabin with absolutely everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and there was a hamper supplied full of goodies and plenty of teas and coffee, milk ,butter all supplied. We loved the private secure garden which our dog loved exploring and watching the animals in the fields at the bottom of the garden . Was lovely to meet all the animals especially the horses and Boris the peacock who loved to sit and look in the window at us. We even loved being woken up early by the rooster and the geese and all the animals walking past our window mornings. Sue was lovely and friendly and recommended places to us. We loved it so much we’ve already booked for next year. Such a cosy relaxing place to stay .

Comfortable bed, good shower and dog friendly with fully enclosed garden . Owner was friendly and did loan me a hairdryer as there wasn’t one.

No proper kitchen area and had to fill kettle and wash up in bathroom sink. Woken early by peacocks and other birds and animals. Quite cramped.

Lovely stay in excellent location for dog walking and pub lunch. Hosts were really lovely. Hamper of food exceeded expectations.
