Hotel Gasteigerhof

Food is great, i liked swiming pool a lot, they have many kinds of sauna, and for short relax there is waterfall like 300m from hotel.

Restaurant was great! Hotel staff was happy to arrange taxi transfers. Good facilities for children, one playroom and a nice/clean pool.

The hotel is a solid 3 stars, with good food. The restaurant is the only part that is a genuine 4 stars. The bus transfers from the hotel (or from the main road, where buses were more frequent) were hard for small children, and very busy. Seating down was only possible sometimes. The hotel does not have its own shuttle, like some of the other hotels in town. Staff speaking limited English, which led to misleading instructions and delays - this seems to be the case for the entire area, unlike more international resorts like St Anton or Ischgl. Attention to details was lacking, like no shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms, hand soap only on request, supplies not replenished when doing up the rooms, broken safe, room phone out of order.
