The Authentic Village Boutique Hotel

This was by far one of the best hotels and stays we have ever been to. The warm sincere welcome and the genuine Greek hospitality blew our minds. And then the rooms and the entire property: gosh! … the beauty, the interior design, the colour patterns and the entire atmosphere truly defines the word “PERFECTION”.

O locatie extraordinara dotata cu tot ce este necesar. Ne-a intrecut asteptarile si ne-a oferit o experienta completa: in parcare am fost asteptati de un baiat amabil care ne-a ajutat cu bagajele si ne-a arata drumul spre receptie unde atat la sosire cat si la plecare, cele doua domnisoare ne-au facut sa ne simtim cu adevarat bine veniti! Am primit o camera superioara celei rezervate (singura gasita disponibila in aplicatie), cu balcon cu priveliste spre micul port pitoresc, de unde, spre incantarea noastra am putut urmari un grup de dansatori pe muzica cretana, apusul rozaliu, iar dimineata ne-am serit prima cafea scaltati in soare. Locatia este original realizata-stil cetate, cu piatra galbuie care se regaseste si la interior, in camere, cu un fel de piateta centrala in fata receptiei, cu copaci si tufe verzi, cu flori, cu jocuri de apa- mici cascade si oglinda de apa, cu spoturi luminoasa calde si discrete seara. O plaja mica, izolata (care are si dus) este situata foarte aproape si se ajunge acolo pe stradute stramte, incantatoare, cat ai clipi. Odata intrat in apa turcoaz, limpede si curata, privind spre tarm ramai impresionat de peretele surplombat de stanca sub care este aciuita terasa unei cafenele rustice precum si de drumul ce serpuieste in stanca in timp ce in largul marii trec vapoare si barci. Patul larg, confortabil, cu lenjerie alba, curata, de calitate, cu niste paturi foarte placute pentru acoperit cand e mai racoare, desi exista si aer conditionat, noi am dormit cu geamul deschis fiind dotat cu please anti-tantari. Prosoapele albe, moi, noi, de calitate, plus Prosoapele de plaja. Toata lenjeria miroase foarte placut, a curat. La baie gel de dus, sampon si lotiune de corp de calitate, cu miros placut, deosebit. Frigider cu apa plata, minerala si limonada free si cu refeel zilnic. Am fost primiti si cu o sticla cu vin rosu cretan, absolut minunat.

Lovely hotel, set about 5 mins walk up the hill from the seafront/harbour. Fairly newly built it seems but very sympathetically done and blends into the surroundings. Quick and easy access to the restaurants and amenities in the town. The room was lovely - tasteful decor, comfortable bed, great shower, plenty of space and storage. Lovely view over the sea. Easy to get to local beaches (which are incredible), either on foot or by regular boats/ferries. Staff were incredibly helpful and nothing was any trouble. They had great recommendations for the local area and Crete more widely. All in all, a really memorable stay and not particularly expensive, for the quality.
