Booked and was about to check in. I asked the old lady receptionist what the difference between deluxe and normal room was. She told me “no, you don’t understand” but then she couldn’t explain what the difference was either. Then she told me all the rooms are deluxe. This was when I realised this hotel’s listings probably shouldn’t be trusted, so I asked to have a look and they weren’t very happy about this. Strange, grumpy and rude staff working on reception. On viewing, the rooms were small and dark even though they are labelled “Deluxe”. I was very happy to cancel on the spot, without losing any money. What a lucky escape.
