Great location, right next to the lake.

1. Car park had no available places despite being advertised as no pre booking necessary. We then had to park in expensive car park across the road. 2. On the first night of our stay, staff were shouting loudly until circa 3am in the morning. This led to us having a very poor nights sleep. 3. We stayed above the kitchen and whilst I appreciate smells come with cooking, the smell within our room was so strong of fat fryers. This made our clothes smell. 4. Advertised a hair dryer and toiletries but neither were available during our stay. 5. Cleanliness of the room was sub-par. Upon arrival, we had to dispose of various cobwebs 6. Decor was very dated and in need of restoration. Bathroom fittings needed replacing, shower grubby, carpet worn and wallpaper peeling off.

O pior sítio onde já fiquei. Os tapetes estavam encardidos (nos corredores e dentro do quarto), as paredes com manchas. Cheguei ao quarto e a cama não tinha lençóis - depois de reclamar foram fazer a cama. Em cima do armário estava um lençol amarfanhado que alguém atirou para lá - nem imagino porquê. Estou desejoso de voltar a casa, tomar banho e queimar tudo o que esteve neste local infecto. Funcionários no limiar da simpatia. Demasiado caro para condições destas.

Lovely setting in Littleborough, Rochdale. Beautiful Hollingworth Lake and countryside views from my room. My room was quite compact but clean and tidy with facilities that I required. Staff are very friendly and obliging. All in all a comfortable stay which I would have no hesitation in repeating.

There is just one thing that I didn't like, the car park. I struggled to find a space to park my vehicle but eventually the manager juggled cars around and I managed to park after some time. It became obvious that there were more residents than spaces to park cars. Also quite a lot of pot holes to contend with in a dimly lit space.

Central location with fantastic views of the lake.. clean and not that expensive . It takes dogs. Food available in bar below. It's our second visit here, so it must have something going for it.

The parking is very limited, so you'll need to use the carpark opposite (for the lake). Cheap and free overnight (8 to 8 am) There was a party with loud music till 1.30 am, which is poor given that there was no warning. I didn't get any sleep till after that.
