Big Sky Lodge

Wir haben uns wiederholt für die Big Sky Lodge und die Gastgeber Ingrid und Thomas entschieden, weil wir die Lage und die Liebenswürdigkeit der Gastgeber sehr schätzen. Wer eine Auszeit in der herrlichen Natur Grenadas sucht und einfache Unterkünfte ohne Schnickschnack mit tollem Ausblick schätzt ist hier richtig. Abseits des Trubels im Süden und doch nicht zu weit weg, kann man von hier aus leicht den Norden und das Innere der Insel erkunden. Die Cabier Brach Bucht lädt nach einem kurzen Spaziergang zum Baden ein. Man kann aber auch einfach mal einen Tag an Pool , garten und auf der Veranda vetbringen... Ingrid bereitet zudem tolles Frühstück und auch Abendessen wenn gewünscht und hilft bei allen Anliegen! Ein dickes fettes "like" von uns <3

I liked the beautiful property and its remote location. The meals prepared by Ingrid were delicious too. I appreciated the prompt refund when I decided to leave.

There was construction nearby and on the property and often raised voices as well. The noisy brush cutter by the dining room while eating was not pleasant while eating breakfast. As a writer, it was not an environment conducive to creative work. I noticed that there were Christmas decorations that had not been removed a few months after the season. My room was very hot, with only one fan. Some electrical work was needed while I was there to replace the bathroom light. I had the impression that the place was a bit rundown. Another guest created a disturbance for hours by talking on their phone with speaker enabled while on the shared porch with me Unfortunately, it was not the peaceful setting that I had imagined it to be. I never did meet Thomas, the owner in person.

C’est loin de tout, il est obligatoire de prendre un taxi ou d’avoir un moyen de transport.

Ingrid always prepared delicious breakfasts. I was there for 9 days and loved the variety. I also appreciated and enjoyed the extras of fresh bottled fruit juices, the chance to experience a meal of oil down, the national dish, and a barbecue prepared fresh1 The pool is wonderful.It was also fun to be invited to add some art to the walls of the dining area!!

Perhaps in the rooms with windows facing the afternoon sun there could be a roll down blind as it got quite hot in the room despite the fan.

Ingrid and Thomas are wonderful hosts with a most fabulous property. The ocean views here are some of the best I've seen, the garden is brimming with flora and fauna and the pool is extremely relaxing. I would recommend Big Sky Lodge to all that appreciate nature and a tranquil scenic spot in paradise.
