Very nice, nice food and bar.

Staff lovely, I had food and drink in the bar which was very nice.

It was convenient and affordable as a last moment booking. It's right on the high street so everything is within walking distance. The locals in the pub are friendly.

The food it poor, I was served a microwaved hot dog that was one of the poorest pub meals I have ever consumed. The pub is obviously noisy on weekends until late. The towel heater will not be turned off or down, I think they have it on in the bathroom at full blast to stop damp and mould.

Foul smelling bathroom(s) even after changing rooms. Drain backing up into shower tray of first bathroom. Moved rooms. Lots of light bleed into room from poor fitting curtains. Mattress cheap and springs could be felt.

The location was spot on.

The wooden door architrave was rotting in the bathroom. The bedside tables should be replaced with more practical ones. Both lightbulbs in the bedside table lights weren’t working. Basic checks by the staff should be mandatory. No breakfast served at this pub and accommodation, as only served at the sister pub. There are more than enough rooms of accommodation to warrant serving breakfasts to the customers staying in this pub and accommodation. Breakfasts costed extra too.

Comfortable ground floor room behind a pub in Stony Stratford High Street. Although that street can be lively, my room was quiet and secluded. Location linked to Central Milton Keynes Rail Station and shopping centre by No. 6 bus every 30 minutes until late at night. There is free car parking nearby.

Pity they no longer do their excellent breakfasts, but otherwise fine. Would stay there again, and am booked to do so.
