The hotel is located conveniently if you’re in the Black Forest for hiking.

We reserved this hotel because of its location and great reviews for its restaurant. Sad to say, we couldn’t try the restaurant because it was full every day we were there and we couldn’t get reservation, even as guests. The rooms are furnished with an outdated decor, which is fine, but the cleanliness was not on a high level. The bathroom had black gunk stuck between the shower tiles and the shower cabin is in need of replacement. The hotel is also located next to a busy road, so until traffic dies down, there is noise coming in through the windows. Also on Friday and Saturday the restaurant clients take up all parking spaces so you cannot park your car if you’re out for the day. Restaurant clients are parked under your window so you might be woken up by them leaving later in the evening. Overall it feels like if you’re a hotel guest, they more or less ignore you. We won’t stay here again.
