Motel 6 New Braunfels

The staff were friendly and helpful and the other people staying there were nice and talkative. The room was also clean and the bed was clean and comfy.

The common areas were grimy and needed some work. My hotel room was clean, but needed some touch up repairs and the bathroom door was repaired in a sketchy way. Honestly the bathroom door needed to be replaced. Much of the first floor of the hotel had towels down and buckets for catching water leaking from recent rains. The ice machine was also broken.

The property was affordable and located near the attraction we were visiting but it seemed very sketchy.

They messed up our 2 room reservation that we prepaid for, only had one room then canceled the reservation and said we could rebook and pay onsite but our refund wouldn't be credited for 7-12 days so we left and drove 5 hours home.

check -in and check- out was fairly quick

The room was clean ,but the king size bed was uncomfortable. I was told that the hotel was remodeled this past year. The shower head sprayed water out around the threads pretty hard and had to make sure to close shower curtain to keep from getting floor wet out side of shower. I forgot to report upon checking out.

The dog that was next to was barking all night. The bed was very uncomfortable. And we itched all night. Don't know if there was bed bugs there. Only got about 3 hours of sleep. I won't be coming back here
