Hotel Posada Vidraru

The SPA is excellent. The hotel has a good location, close to the begging of the road. The personnel are doing their best to serve the customers. It’s very clean everywhere. Bathroom in the room feels like new. Restaurant has nice green vibes. Quiet place to enjoy the Nature Beauty.

Room feels basic. Especially the bed. Mattress and pillows are not comfortable. This and the floor carpet need a replacement to support 4 stars hotel definition.

Good location

Really nice location near to the lake and dam, just at the beginning of the end of Transfâgârâsân road. Nice Spa with big pool and beautiful views from it and the restaurant. We got a really nice meal for breakfast with a lot of options.

The blanket for the double bed was too small for two persons and not thick enough, we were cold at night. Jacuzzi water was cold and the fridge in the room too noisy to sleep.

La ubicación y el personal muy amable, nos trataron muy bien.

Entendemos que al ser los únicos huéspedes ese día algunas partes del spa no estaban activas, no pudimos disfrutar todas las instalaciones.

Location on the lake was nice. Waitress in the restaurant was awesome.

Disorganized staff. Masseuse got angry because she wanted cash instead of paying with credit card which front desk said was ok and definitely normal. One person told us the pool was open until a certain time, get to the pool and it’s closed and covered up and all lights off. Wasn’t even close to closing. Had to get someone to come open it back up and turn lights back on. Try to go downstairs and check out the next morning and find the elevator is full of chairs. Sent it back downstairs, hoping it would be unloaded when it came back up and it was not. Had to unload the chairs ourselves so we could get in the elevator with our luggage. Great location but it definitely needs some management. I know it’s during off season for them but it was a total mismanagement mess.

Amazing location, lovely staff and the facilities in the hotel weee great. We enjoyed the food also.

The lake is empty at the moment as they are doing work on the damn. This means the road can be shut off at different times so make sure you ask.
