Flair Hotel Zur Eiche

Sehr freundliches Personal z.T. Eigentümerfamilie Schönes großes Zimmer Blick ins Grüne Guter Fernseher Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet für EUR 12,00 Gute Lage, um jenseits der B75 im Stuvenwald zu wandern (hier geht vermutlich auch der Heidschnucken-Wanderweg direkt vorbei z.B. bis Hamburg-Neugraben bzw. Undeloh)

Mein Zimmer auf der Südseite war an einem Sommertag sehr aufgeheizt. So habe ich bei offenen Fenstern geschlafen, von denen nur eines ein Insektengitter hatte. Morgens wurde ich dann vom Verkehrslärm geweckt.

Die ruhige Lage des Hotels.

Geräumiges Zimmer mit sehr guten Betten und einer Espressomaschine.

Bad könnte gelegentlich renoviert werden.

The location is really nice, beautiful setting, nice garden patio and restaurant.

The staff seemed stressed, it felt like we were a burden instead of guests. At dinner, service was slow and lots got forgotten. At breakfast although not many guests there, most tables were covered with dirty dishes and coffee cups. We were ordered to sit somewhere else, as they did not have time to clean up the leftovers from the other guests. As we watched staff it looked like they did not work efficient. At the breakfast buffet slow stock up, with no stock up of the bacon. When we asked for bacon, it seemed almost too much to ask 1 hour before the end of the breakfast time. Service did lots of walking around with empty hands. Overall: Never a warm welcome or asked: “How are you? Hello or good morning. Did you sleep well? What can I do for you? How did you like your stay? Thank you for staying with us? Hope to see you again, have a nice day.” It wasn’t the language barrier as I clearly spoke in German with the staff.
