Sundeck Hotel

We booked two nights in this hotel since more or less everything in the city center was booked. The hotel is located a 15 min walk from the beach in a residential area. Easy to park outside, otherwise the area around the hotel is not very nice. The hotel is however new and very fresh. The room was rather spacious and so was the bathroom. Everything was clean and neat and we had a nice, sunny balcony with views towards the cliffs. The rooftop area is also nice, they should however have some sun shed there since it was impossible to stay there during the sunny day. The breakfast room is located in the basement and there were the items you would expect from an Italian breakfast. However it did not feel very corona safe to sit very close to other guests coughing, sneezing and touching all the cutlery for grabbing the food. All the fruit and cakes were also out in the open, whereas the bread and cold cuts were placed in boxes. The first impression of the hotel was however not so nice since we were told to not bring any drinks (not even water) into the hotel, before the staff even said hi and welcomed us to the hotel. In general friendly staff though, but some don't speak English very well. Some improvements here and there and then they will probably deserve the four stars I give them since 3,5 is not possible. It is clear that they want to make a good experience for the guests.
