Hotel Meson del Valle by AHS

Love the location and the price. The staff are also quite lovely and helpful (and bilingual, for those who need that). It's a quaint hotel and the garden and terrace are both beautiful. The breakfast here is also good and a value.

So, we specifically booked the room with a jacuzzi tub but unfortunately the stopper on the tub did not work so we couldn't use it. Since we were only there for the one night we didn't try to get this remedied. Also, and this is not the hotel's fault at all, the power went out during the morning so there were no lights or hot water to be had for the shower before checkout time. Also, the bathroom, particularly around the tub area, has seen better days and did not look as nice in person as it did in the photos.

Bedroom smells damp and no effort had been made with the roof garden (eg the single parasol did not work) which is a shame as it is potentially a major plus point

The hotel is very clean and well kept.

It would have been nice to include breakfast.

Location perfect. Staff awesome. Overall accommodations were AWESOME! Will definitely be back!
