Great option to stay at Antigua

OK for one or 2 nights

Entrance yard looks unsightly, as the hotel share it with the adjacent house. Therefore no garden sitting

The best part of my stay was the fast WiFi, the rest was just ok. The room was clean and basic, but that's what I was expecting for the price I paid. Nice garden and patio area.

The one staff member I interacted with was friendly enough, but my room (off the main office) was very damp/ humid. There is no outside window and the small portable AC unit couldn't do enough. It was actually a more comfortable temperature in the hallway. Unfortunately there was no other fan or room available for me to transfer to. The lock on the door is quite flimsy. Nothing more than a bathroom door lock, but the property is well secured by the main entrance. They also asked for me to pay the balance of the room cost on check-in, which I wasn't expecting. I do not recommend booking a shuttle back to the Guatemala City airport with them. Their website and an ad inside the property quoted $17 USD, but when I tried to arrange it with them in person or via email, I was given a price between $30 and $50 USD. When I mentioned their website and the ad on their entry desk, they then were willing to honour the price but then removed the ad from their desk. You're better off booking the transfer through Somos Hostel just up the street. Their price is around $12 USD.

Amazing place! Quite, clean and good facilities. Favorite place I stayed in Guatemala. A bit away from the center but the walk is nice and for that reason it is calmer. Staff is very friendly and helpfull and the rooftop is great. Also the best shower I had. Good pressure and warm water. 10/10 and next time I come back I will book again

Having access to the rooftop helped since we had no view of the outdoors from our room that was on the first floor. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was very quiet and the grounds well maintained. It was a charming looking building. I'd say the price matched well with what you get.

Our room on the first floor was dark with poor ventilation. It also felt very humid in the room in January. The window in our room opened to the hallway, close to the hotel entrance, so we didn't feel comfortable opening it due to lack of privacy. The rooms on the second floor seemed much better, unfortunately we could not switch rooms due to availability.

Basic, nothing special. Wouldn't repeat

My bedroom is on the ground floor and so I had no natural light unless I opened the curtain to the hallway which in my small room was just too exposing. Antigua is an amazing city and there is so much to do and delicious places to eat and drink coffee. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast. The Terrace upstairs was sweet enough and the staff were really kind. This wasn't the most amazing place I stayed in Guatemala but it was good enough and very reasonably priced.

My room was a little dark.

It was very comfortable, good location with very helpful staff with good knowledge and English
