Value for money

I made a Booking and we stayed outside for more than 2 hours because the invoice we had diid not have the correct door combination,,when we called no- one at the Property responded. We were given access after calling Booking.com whoalso failed to get hold of anyone at the Property when eventually we got inside we did not hav a room number as the invoice did not bear one we struggled again and so did booking .com attendants. We sent an email whose response we onlly saw long after leaving the property After failing to enter the rooms we left and had to seek alternative accomodation elsewhere. I think it would be noble if we can be compensated for such as.we did not even access the room.Please refer to yourCCTV Footage.

This is my fourth stay here. Over the last month I've been in Rooms 1, 3 and 9 and they were are all very adequate for my stay

Very clean and tidy and a lovely big shower cubicle and a fairly powerful shower. Tea and coffee provided and a small kettle. Really great value for money, nice big towels. Wetherspoons "The Denmead Queen" was great value for basic food and cheap drinks. The Exchange Bar was nice and more upmarket, and the number 73 bar looked nice but was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, as was the Chinese sit-down. Plenty of take-aways of all sorts though. Safe parking behind the shops opposite the the hotel, free from 6pm to 8am, but you can use the app to pay for the morning if you want a lie in.

When my wife turned the shower on, most of the holes in the overhead shower head were blocked, resulting in water spraying out all over the bathroom floor. I fixed it easily by rubbing all the little rubber nozzles to clear out any calcium. Needs to be done frequently as it is a hard water area. The bedside tables were wobbly, and I tightened the legs. A picture had come off the wall and rested on the headboard, where it could have fallen on my face. Needs sticking back on the wall. Wife would have liked a hairdryer. Waterlooville town centre is rather sad, with so many empty shops.

The venue was on the high street easily accessible

The noise from other guests the room was not particularly well sound proof and could hear one guest snoring in another room. Another guest throwing up all night. No hair dryer in the room.

Lovely rooms , very comfortable and easy to locate.
