El Jardin

We chose this lovely place because it was not far from the prehistoric caves and Museum of Altamira, famous for its cave paintings. Like Lascaux, France , it is an exact reproduction and they are fantastic. The ceiling paintings of the bison are so realistic. El garden Inn had so many beautiful gardens. We were in the beautiful, large, 1st floor lavender room which had a couch and bed and separate bathroom. The host was very helpful, suggesting a lovely seaside restaurant that was quite close and we watched a lovely sunset. We were on a tight reservation to visit the caves so we had to leave before breakfast was served. There was secure parking in an enclosed compound. We highly recommend this Inn.

Everything you could wish for was at hand. Staff were very helpful.

The plumbing could have been quieter - we could hear every toilet flush and shower around us, and also every footstep above.

Everything perfect. Clean and comfortable, good location for nearby facilities, very friendly and helpful family, air conditioning, excellent breakfast, can’t ask for anything more.

There was nowhere nearby (within comfortable walking distance) to eat well at the time we were there.
