Wollumbin Palms Rainforest Retreat

The uniqueness, consideration for guest comfort and the quality touches made this stay amazing. The owners of this property have clearly thought about guest comfort in every way shape and form. The little touches is what makes his place truly special including the dog bed and doggy treats for our pet poodle. I loved the beautiful Epsom salts for the outdoor bath and the super comfortable custom made bed with quality linen and throw blankets. The outdoor shower was also a cute treat. The Earth Lodge is so beautifully designed at the surrounding rainforest make this place incredibly peaceful and relaxing. A place you can truly unwind and disconnect.

Water Lodge is special! The positioning of this idyllic hideaway has it tucked away in the most gorgeous setting, totally cocooned in nature. The peaceful surroundings are totally in sync with the beautiful building itself which is so delightful to stay in! We loved the layout, two separate structures joined by a large undercover breezeway looking out over a lake with a large water fountain. We believe the original, ornately carved, Javanese prayer rooms that the buildings are built around have added an extra dimension of serenity that we have not felt in any other kind of retreat accommodation before. We will be back, Water Lodge can't be replicated. Thank you for having us!

There was nothing not to like for us. You will need to love nature, the rise and fall of cicadas and frogs calling at night is the most beautiful way to fall asleep
