Silent, Beautiful garden, Next to the mountains, Friendly Hosts

Very nice combination between maintaining the traditional features of the old house and adding on top all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The owners, Oana and Vlad are welcoming people, doing everything with passion and dedication. I enjoyed spending time with them and exploring the property and the village. Great find and would love to come back doar a longer stay.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The garden and the surrounding area, especially the medieval fort were very pretty. We enjoyed our visit to a major waterfall at the foot of the mountains a short drive away. There was a well equipped kitchen/dining room across the yard. The 2 joined double bedrooms were very pleasant and spacious and one bedroom had an ensuite toilet/shower room. However, we as a couple staying with our son, his wife and their child, they had the bedroom with the ensuite and we had the use of a toilet/shower room across the yard. Still it wasn't a hardship for us and it worked out well. We were very happy with our evening meals prepared by the hosts in their pleasant village restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our Romanian village experience.

Just bear in mind the access to the toilet/showers from the bedrooms if travelling as a group/family.

The hosts treated us like family, with exceptional warmth and generosity with their time, property, and even special requests. These are people you'd want to be friends with. The location has a splendid garden with hammocks, lighting at night in a bridge over the creek. It has convenient parking and is a 2 minute walk to a small, centuries old castle! The neighborhood is quiet except for charming cows with bells meandering on the road twice a day. They are always improving the property, so by the time you go it will have even more amenities and comforts. You are going to love it!

It could use shelves in the bathroom, drawers in the bedrooms, and hot water in the kitchen.
