Makuwa Safari Lodge

Alles!!!! So eine tolle Unterkunft. Simone ist die beste Gastgeberin. Sie und Ihr fabelhaftes Team sind so unglaublich nett. Man hat fast das Gefühl Teil des Teams zu sein. Simone ist eine grandiose Köchin mit so viel Leidenschaft und Liebe zum Detail. Wir haben via booking.com noch nachträglich eine Private Safari im Manyeleti Game Reserve gebucht. Ein wahnsinniges Erlebnis. Abends am Lagerfeuer konnte man sich mit Ranger Simon noch austauschen und hat viel über die Wildnis erfahren. Wir wollten nicht mehr abreisen. Der Ort hat uns verzaubert.

Al Makuwa ti senti a casa, l'accoglienza, la gentilezza e la cucina di Simone, Simon e tutto lo staff è speciale. Avevamo prenotato una stanza x 4, letti grandi e comodi, bagno un po' piccolo ma stanza molto grande, e avrete anche un lavandino nella stanza e un grande mobile comodo per appoggiare le cose. Grande patio esterno con divani e poltrone. Tutto molto pulito e curato ed in stile locale. Le cene sono state di alto livello, Simone è una cuoca appassionata, dolci eccezionali. I pranzi e le colazioni al sacco che ci ha preparato per le nostre giornate al Kruger erano buonissime. Il Safari game drive fatto con Simon, molto preparato e simpatico, è stato divertente, ci ha spiegato tante cose e abbiamo visto molti animali. Makuwa resterà nei nostri cuori!

Our stay at Makuwa was truly the highlight of our time in South Africa. Spending time in the bush, surrounded by such incredible nature, was simply unforgettable. The entire staff is fantastic and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. A special mention goes to Simone and Simon, whose kindness, professionalism and genuine care made the experience even more memorable. The food was also outstanding. Everything felt genuine, homemade and thoughtfully prepared, with great attention to detail and to every need, even the safari “to-go” meals were delicious and perfectly planned. What impressed us the most, however, was the deep passion, knowledge and respect for wildlife that the whole team shares. It’s inspiring to see people so dedicated to protecting and understanding the natural world. Something we could all learn from. Thank you for such a special stay. We will carry these memories with us for a long time.

The hostess Simone and her husband and team were fantastic hosts, very attentive and super friendly and helpful. They made us feel like friends, part of the family, sharing their knowledge to give us the best experience. The lodge is immaculate and the food is amazing. We loved all the safaris and excursions on offer. I highly recommend!

Die Gastgeber sind super nett und gaben uns tolle Tipps. Wir bekamen für unseren Tages Game Drive ein sehr liebevoll gepacktes Breakfast +Lunch Paket mit. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet und abends wird ein Lagerfeuer entzündet. Auch die Verpflegung (Frühstück und Abendessen) war total lecker.
